and I wasn't implying you drive recklessly. My main point was that the BBK upgrade is done most often for looks, IMO and really doesn't offer a street car much in the way of $$$ spent vs. performance gained. If you can lock up your brakes, that's not a problem with your brakes, that's a lack of traction between your tires and the road (ignore ABS implications for sake of this conversation). Grippier tires with a lower tread wear rating will help with that and decrease your stopping distances. But, if you plan to track your car, and just need to spend the money, have at it. It certainly won't hurt anything.
